There are no reported injuries, but the ambulance was carrying a patient at the time of the collision, which has closed down all but one southbound lane on Park Lane, with surrounding streets closed to traffic. Having earlier been removed from Parliament square on grounds that they had damaged the threadbare lawn, they continue to demonstrate outside the closed off space.
