Christie's, London, October 03 2017. A woman handles a 404 carat-rough diamond, discovered in early 2016 that has been transformed by de GRISOGONO in Geneva by a team of 14 craftsmen who worked for over 1,700 hours to create a spectacular necklace mounting, the largest, flawless, D-colour diamond ever to come to auction, expected to fetch in the region of US$30 Million.
Christie’s will offer the diamond at its sale of Magnificent Jewels on 14 November in Geneva. The necklace represents a celebration of THE ART OF de GRISOGONO on the eve of the company’s 25th anniversary and is on public preview at Christie's in London from 3-7 October 2017. © Paul Davey
