Michaela Community School, Wembley, London, June 23rd 2015. Mayor of London Boris Johnson visits the Michaela Community School, a Free School in Wembley that started taking students in September2014 after battling a certain amount of resistance from locals and unions. During the visit Head Teacher Katharine Birbalsingh took the Mayor on a tour of the school before he participated in a history lesson, prior to sitting down with pupils for brunch. PICTURED: The Mayor sits down with pupils for brunch. Each table has an adult who encourages conversation and participation by all students.
