Horseguards Parade, Westminster, March 31st 2016. Dressed in period Royal Flying Corps uniform, Education Officer Vernon Creek of the Royal Air Force Museum poses with a 1918 Sopwith Snipe. The Royal Air Force Museum displays three aircraft on Westminster's Horseguard's Parade to promote the forthcoming 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Royal Air Force. The aircraft are a 1918 Sopwith Snipe, a Second World War Spitfire Mk XVI and a modern Eurofighter Typhoon.
