  • Earl's Court, London, November 9th 2014.  Doglovers, breeders and petcare businesses from across the UK converge at Earl's Court Exhibition Centre for  the 19th Discover Dogs exhibition, organised by the Kennel Club. Over 200 breeds are represented at the show where organisers are trying to change public perceptions about the dogs they choose so that they fit the owner's lifestyle, rather than being chosen for their looks. PICTURED: Soldiers off the Street charity workers Andy Gartside and Lee Fyfe from the preston-based North West outreach team pose with Jeanette Green and her Bernese  Moutain dog  and 6 month old Bulldog Elvis with Mandy Howsego. Soldiers off the Street works with homeless ex servicemen, many of who have dogs as companions.

PICTURED: Mandy Howsego and rescued ex "stud" bulldog Edward, after whom the Bulldog rescue charity Edward Foundation is named. Edward was found in a horribly abused stated, emaciated and suffering from a skin condition, demodex, the scars of whiich he still bears and has been brought back to good health and happiness by the foundation.
