Woman fights council over £20,000 boiler

Artist Michelle Baharier, 55, shows how the huge boiler and what she thinks might be a loose, unfitted thermostat switch, for which, despite the nearly £25,000 price tag, she was never supplied any instructions. She is fighting Southwark Council the freeholders of her 2 bedroom Camberwell flat, which she purchased in 2008 under the Right to Buy Scheme, being forced to pay for the boiler.
