Coldstream Guards undergo inspection after being chosen for Queens birthday trooping

The 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards undergoes inspection by Major General Commanding the Household Division, Major General Ben Bathurst at Victoria Barracks in Windsor, Berkshire. The battalion has been chosen to Troop its Colour for the Queen's Birthday Parade on 9th June. Before then these operational soldiers have to perfect hundreds of precision ceremonial drill moves and achieve a standard of turnout of uniform, equipment and bearing which is nothing short of excellence. Members of the Coldstream Guards Drum Corps adjust their uniforms prior to inspection.
